Hans Raj Hans is a singer from Punjab, India. He is known for singing Sufi and Punjabi folk songs in a particular style embellished with classical improvisations and vocal techniques. He has appeared in numerous movies including Kachche Dhaage, in which he sang alongside the renowned qawwali singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Hans is a recipient of the civilian honour of Padma Shri — the fourth highest civilian award from the Republic of India.
